The atmosphere of the hotel is quiet. The breakfast is very good with free WiFi and cheese, as for instance, had everything you could imagine.

Very good breakfast with free WiFi, meats and mostly sweet goods prepared by incredibly nice staff. Extremely comfy beds in our guest room. Excellent and wonderful location for visiting restaurants and a stadium.

The location is very good for the railway station and still close to the city centre, making it convenient for walking everywhere. The breakfast was good and the room was clean.
The real glitch, but I believe it applies to all of Verona, is that the price of the room doubles if there is an opera on that evening.

It the hotel was very helpful in allowing us to leave our bags with them while we spent the day in Verona, before catching our train to Milano. The location to the railway station was a big bonus, and the main reason we stayed here.
For a family of five, it was a bit inconvenient not having more choices of restaurants close by. The breakfast was okay. Always had a hard time opening the doors to our rooms, and the bathrooms - when you are arriving late to a hote, and just want to get in and unload, the last thing you want to be doing is trying get your hotel room door open!

We got to the hotel after 9:15pm we needed to be at the Arena de Verona at 9:15pm where the opera peace we had tickets for had already started, the staff where very helpful in getting us a taxy immediately and they held our luggage till later after midnight when we finally got back from show and checked into our rooms.
Check inn area is separate from hotel entrance.

It was ok but constructions going on that we were not informed about. Impossible to sleep early in the morning but when we told the staff we were offered another room. Location was good but next time I would try to find a room at the main hotel Martini, where the reception is situated, next to this.

great base for exploring verona and beyond
I spent three nights here and loved how close it was to Verona Porta Nuova Railway Station, just a few minutes away, and the city center was only a pleasant 30-minute walk, revealing beautiful views along the way. The room was spacious and had a lovely balcony where I enjoyed sipping my coffee while taking in the scenery were good.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.
Internet connection service was terminated. They offered in-house PC to check the site, but I could not use my PC to check emails.

Helpful, English speaking female receptionist. Continental breakfast was very good. Bathroom was very clean and functional with a good shower and plenty of towels. The free shuttle to and from the Opera arena. Quiet location.Very near the main train station.
No bar/coffee shop in the Hotel Piccolo - these are available in its sister hotel next door. The location of the hotel is more than a fifteen minute walk from the centre of the city ( in very humid conditions while we were there). Only one staff member on reception at busy check out time. An earlier shuttle to the opera would be welcome for people who want to eat in the arena area beforehand.

Staff was quite nice, and they could speak English, what really helps, if you have no knowledge of Italian.
It was difficult to find the place first time.

The hotel was walking distance from the train statiion which was handy. It's a wee way into town but you can hire a bike at the hotel and they have plenty of info about the city.

The hotel is near to train station and a bit far (20mins walk) to Verona city center. It is over-priced. There is no coffee making facilities in the room. Average breakfast. We booked hotel Martini in advance but our booking was cancelled by the hotel with weird reason. Later we booked this hotel because the location is just next to hotel Martini which is nearer to the train station, but at a higher price. When we arrived, we realized that both hotel Martini and Piccolo are the same management. We felt a bit cheated.

the hotel is very bad for the requisted rate: room are very small for double room the internet not available in room ( we must stay at the loby to use it and it is not suitable) breakfast was not good and we asked for meet not bork and they didn't arrange (we informed them that we are moslems and don't eat bork) we were in scalzi hotel last year and it was better and in good rate. please you must mention the rooms size in you discribtion for hotels.
